A free Ewan Dobson Concert at Connell House November 5 from 3pm – 6pm. Instrumental guitarist Ewan Dobson originally from Toronto, Ontario currently resides in New Brunswick. Having started his career by winning the 2009 Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition where the prize was to record an album with Candyrat Records. As of late 2021, he has released a total of 17 albums. This concert is Proudly Sponsored by Downtown Woodstock. Downtown Woodstock will be holding our annual sale of Downtown Dollars Wednesday November 9th, 2022 from 11am – 1pm or until $40,000 is sold, this will be an in person sale at the side office at the Farm Market building, 220 King St Unit 2, we would ask you to wear a mask when entering the office as the office is a smaller space and keep a 6 foot distance from others. Also, only 1 person in the office purchasing dollars at a time. Although we have had to alter our process for the dollar sale, we are happy to once again be able to offer the public the opportunity to purchase up to $500 Downtown Dollars for only $400 cash. Minimum purchase is $100 DW Dollars for $80 cash. “The Sounds of Christmas at Connell House” Featuring the Carleton County Young Chamber Players Downtown Woodstock is please to sponsor an evening of Christmas music at Connell House on Friday November 18, 2022 from 7pm – 9pm. The Young Carleton County Chamber Players is a local group, students of Ypie Shaver, ages 7 – 17 years old, who play violin, viola, and cello with aspirations to eventually play in a chamber orchestra. This is an especially exciting concert because the pandemic has prevented the group from playing in public for the past 2 plus years. Feel free to drop by for merry music and refreshments while enjoying the Downtown atmosphere as Woodstock kicks off the 2022 Christmas Season! Join JP Nadeau for an evening piano bar performance at Connell House, Friday November 25 from 6pm – 9pm. Concert is Free.
